PURPOSE: A technology for enlarging the surface area of an electrode for a brown gas generator is provided to manufacture a brown gas generator for manufacturing more brown gas in comparison with the size thereof because the surface of an electrode plate is cut by a physical method or is corroded by chemical substances. CONSTITUTION: A technology for enlarging the surface area of an electrode for a brown gas generator is as follows. A V-shaped or a circular arc-shaped uneven structure is formed at a predetermined length by using a cutting bite. A metal sheet is corroded by chemical substances having strong corrosiveness to form the uneven structure.
