<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card connector with an ejection mechanism capable of preventing an inadvertent flying out of a card when discharged. <P>SOLUTION: The card connector electrically connects the card in which a first recess and a second recess are formed at least on one side of the side face which crosses at right angles the insertion direction of the card and external equipment. The card connector includes a housing part in which a connector to contact the connector of the card is installed, a frame which covers the housing part and is fixed to the housing part and constitutes a housing section to house the card, and an ejection part which discharges the card from the housing section. The frame has a pair of sidewalls arranged in nearly parallel to the side face of the card and a top plate section to continue from the respective sidewalls, and the sidewalls have a first engaging portion formed capable of engaging with the first recess and a second engaging portion capable of engaging with the second recess. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
