A variable displacement swash plate type compressor comprises: a division body which is formed in a swash plate chamber to be rotated together with a drive shaft; a moving body which is formed in the swash plate chamber to be rotated together with the drive shaft; an inlet port which is formed in the swash plate chamber to be opened and allows external refrigerants to flow into the swash plate chamber; and a suction path which is formed in either a cylinder block or each piston to connect the swash plate chamber with each compression chamber. Therefore, the present invention has excellent volumetric efficiency and controls discharge pulsation.
