COOLED HANDPIECE FOR TREATING THE SKIN WITH VISIBLE RADIATION

The hand piece has two windows (1, 2) that are disposed against each other and separated by a space containing gas e.g. nitrogen and air, where the windows transmit a light beam (FI). The window (1) directly contacts to the skin of the patient, during treatment. A heating unit heats the gas between the windows. A cooling unit permits to maintain the temperature of the window (1) to a temperature lower than 8 degree Celsius.
