The engine (1) has a seal assembly arranged between a cylinder head (2) and an intermediate flange (4). Another seal assembly is arranged between a cylinder head cover (3) and the intermediate flange. A flange screw (6) fastens the cylinder head cover and the intermediate flange at the cylinder head. The flange screw includes a collar for supporting at the cylinder head, and a head for supporting at the cover. The flange screw includes a shaft passed through a flange through hole of the intermediate flange and through a cover through hole of the cover.
