PURPOSE: A navigation system of cloud computing method and an operating method thereof are provided to perform most processes in a central server connected to a cloud network, thereby simplifying a configuration of a navigation terminal. CONSTITUTION: A navigation system of cloud computing method comprises a computer-readable record medium, a cloud database(400), and a cloud central server(300). The computer-readable record medium records an operation program of a navigation terminal(100). The cloud database store traffic information including a vehicle route database. The cloud central server generates the vehicle route database by receiving the vehicle route information from the navigation terminal and stores the route database in the cloud database. The cloud central server calculates predicted locations of each vehicle for every time on a basis of the vehicle route database and the predicted traffic information of each position of every time on a basis of the predicted locations of each vehicle for every time. The cloud central server calculates a recommended route of a corresponding vehicle on a basis of the predicted traffic information of every time, thereby transmitting the recommended route to the navigation terminal of the corresponding vehicle.
