PURPOSE: A structure of a can for food and beverage is provided to improve the structure of a can, thereby compressing empty cans more easily and safely processing the empty cans. CONSTITUTION: When manufacturing a can for food and beverage, the different sizes(diameter/thickness) of the upper part and the lower part of a cylindrical body(3) are made to be the same. The cylindrical body has more than one edge line(6) which makes curves. The cylindrical body has more than one edge line with a thin shallow groove(7). The middle part of the cylindrical body is made smaller or bigger than the upper part or the lower part.
