PURPOSE: A connector is provided to enhance the high frequency property of the flowing electric signal of a connector by adjoining impedance to a circuit board and the impedance of a contact object. CONSTITUTION: An insulator includes multiple contract insertion grooves and multiple partition walls. Multiple contacts(25B) have a first piece, a second piece and a connection piece. A hollow portion(22) is overlapped with some part of the contacts when it is viewed at the aligning direction of the contact on a partition wall. A partial stove pipe is blocked which heads toward the aligning direction between the hollow portion and the contact insertion groove by the partition wall. The hollow portion has a broader width than that of the contact insertion groove.
