PURPOSE: A document connection system providing an advertisement and a service capable of connecting a document stored in a cloud based clipboard and a method thereof are provided to automatically display various services capable of connecting the document in case of inquiring the document stored in the cloud based clipboard, thereby effectively supporting continued consumption of a user for information on the Internet. CONSTITUTION: A storage unit(210) stores a first document in a clipboard in case of requesting a copy of the clipboard for the first document provided through a first device. An identification unit(220) identifies a second service capable of connecting the first document stored in the clipboard. A selection unit(230) selects an advertisement related to the first document stored in the clipboard. When an access request to the clipboard is received through a second device, a providing unit(240) provides lists of the first document and the second service with the advertisement to the second device.
