PURPOSE: A mobile communication terminal and an operating method thereof is provided to block a call function of the mobile communication terminal in a specific period of time. CONSTITUTION: A user input part(104) receives a first designated time from a user. When a call is received, a display part(106) notifies reception of the received call. A control part(110) determines whether a current time is delivered at the first designated time. The control part switches an operation mode to a terminal lock mode when the current time is delivered at the first designated time. The control part controls the display part not to notify reception of the receiving call after switching to the terminal lock mode.
