PROTEIN MARKER FIBULIN-4 FOR COLON CANCER DIAGNOSIS AND DIAGNOSIS KIT FOR COLON CANCER USING ANTIBODIES AGAINST THE SAME

PURPOSE: A kit containing an antibody which specifically binds to fibulin-4 or a fragment of the protein and a method for detecting fibulin-4 using the same are provided to enhance sensitivity and to early diagnose colon cancer. CONSTITUTION: A biomarker for diagnosing colon cancer contains fibulin-4 as an active ingredient, with an amino acid of sequence number 1. The protein expression is relatively increased in blood, plasma, or serum of an individual with colon cancer. A kit for diagnosing colon cancer contains an antibody which specifically binds to the protein or a fragment of the protein. The antibody is a monoclonal antibody or a polyclonal antibody.
