PURPOSE: A method for preparing a mixture extract of Adansonia digitata, Lithospermum erythrorhizon Siebold and Zuccarini, Dioscorea japonica Thunberg, and lotus roots and a cosmetic composition containing the extract are provided to ensure excellent anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic effects. CONSTITUTION: A cosmetic composition contains a mixture extract of Adansonia digitata, Lithospermum erythrorhizon Siebold and Zuccarini, Dioscorea japonica Thunberg, and lotus roots. The cosmetic composition is prepared by fermentation using Bacillus sp. The extract is prepared using a mixture solvent of purified water, C1-C43 alcohol, hydrous C1-C4 alcohol, C1-C6 glycol, hydrous C1-C6 glycol, ethyl acetate, benzene, hexane, diethyl ether, or dichloromethane. The cosmetic composition is manufactured in the form of a lotion, a nutrition cream, a massage cream, an essence, or a pack.
