PURPOSE: A high-pressure piston damper using shape memory alloy is provided to form a pressure adjustable structure according to high pressure generated inside a damper, thereby preventing a rupture of the sealing inside the damper. CONSTITUTION: A high-pressure piston damper includes a cylinder(1), a piston(2), a first rubber seal, a second rubber seal, a high pressure control unit, and a high voltage generator. The unoccupied space within the cylinder is filled with magneto-rheological fluid or electro-rheological fluid. The piston has a piston rod and a piston head which are to be inserted into the cylinder. The first and the second rubber seal are located in appropriate places of the piston rod and the piston head. The high pressure control unit is attached to the inside or the outside of the first and the second rubber seal. The size of the high pressure control unit varies according to the high pressure generated from the frictional heat as the piston rod moves in the cylinder. The high voltage generator is inserted into and connected to appropriate places of the outer side of the cylinder and the piston rod by cables.
