PURPOSE: An identification module selection method of a wireless communications terminal which has multiple identification modules capable of selecting an appropriate identification module for the wireless communications terminal and an apparatus thereof are provided to automatically select an identification module of a wireless communications terminal with minimum manipulation of a user. CONSTITUTION: A network selection unit(161) selects a network. A identification module search unit(162) searches a corresponding identification module in the selected network. If the corresponding identification module is searched in the selected network, an identification module selection unit(163) selects the searched identification module. A wireless communications unit(110) connects the selected network using the selected identification module. An interface inputs a priority corresponding to the network.
