PURPOSE: A steel pipe pile welding apparatus for ground construction is provided to easily couple or decouple a welding unit to or from a guide rail by controlling the gap between a first and a second guide rollers, thereby preventing interference between the guide rollers and the guide rail. CONSTITUTION: A steel pipe pile welding apparatus for ground construction includes a guide rail(A) with a ring-type inner periphery greater than the outer periphery of a steel pile(4), fixing bolts(B) and a welding unit(C). The fixing bolts are coupled through the interior and exterior sides of the guide rail and pressed to the outer peripheral surface of the steel pile in order to fix the guide rail to the exterior of the steel pile, where the inner end of a fixing bolt is caught on a protrusion or groove formed on the outer peripheral surface of the steel pile. The welding unit(C) is coupled to the guide rail and rotates along the guide rail.
