Provided is a gas engine controller wherein correction of opening of a fuel gas supply regulation valve for reducing NOx can be carried out in a short time with high precision. A gas engine controller (1) comprising an opening regulation means for regulating a fuel gas supply regulation valve (35) such that a combustion variation value (PIV) based on the engine speed difference between an instantaneous engine speed and an engine speed during power stroke of each cylinder in one combustion cycle converges to a target combustion variation value (PIVm) based on the engine load. The gas engine controller (1) is further provided with an opening correction means for increasing or decreasing the opening (GVM) of a fuel gas supply regulation valve (35) forcibly in a predetermined period (t_int) and calculating an opening correction value (GVM_rv) based on the maximal values (GVMmax1, GVMmax2) and minimal values (GVMmin1, GVMmin2) of opening (GVM) in the convergence process to a target combustion variation value (PIVm). |
