CEMENTED CARBIDE BASE OUTER BLADE CUTTING WHEEL AND MAKING METHOD

PURPOSE: A cutting blade for cutting an outer periphery of a cemented carbide plate and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to utilize the cutting blade for cutting articles for a long time without dressing so that the articles are cut into pieces of high precision. CONSTITUTION: A cutting blade for cutting an outer periphery comprises an annular thin cemented carbide disc plate(10) and a metal or alloy bond abrasive grain edge portion(20). The metal or alloy bond abrasive grain edge portion is formed in an outer perimeter of the plate. A bond abrasive grain has an average particle size of 45-310 micron meters and a diamond and/or CBN(Cubic Boron Nitride) grain of at least 150 TI. The edge portion comprises an overlay having a thickness tolerance(T3max-T3min) of 0.001 mm or 0.1×T2max mm. The edge portion has the roundness(ODmax/2-ODmin/2) of 0.001 mm or 0.01×ODmax mm.
