PURPOSE: An LED with a built-in thermistor for controlling temperature and an LED lighting device, and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to accurately place thermistor patterns at a desired size in a nearest spot of a portion where a lighting LED chip is mounted, thereby accurately measure an actual heat radiating state caused by operating the LED chip. CONSTITUTION: A ceramic package is composed of an upper body(45) and a lower body(44). Thermistor patterns(43) are formed by screen-printing and printing, or sputtering. A negative electrode(41) of the ceramic package is charged with an alloy of gold or silver for radiating heat of an LED and constituting an electrical circuit with an external circuit. A positive electrode(42) of the ceramic package is charged with the alloy of gold or silver for radiating heat of the LED and constituting the electrical circuit with the external circuit. A silver paste(16) joins a diode to the ceramic package. |
