PURPOSE: An induction heating device is provided to control the lateral temperature of target heating materials by laterally controlling the amount of magnetic flux interlinkage. CONSTITUTION: A heating coil(3) is multiply wound to cover a target heating material. A C-shaped iron core(5) controls the amount of magnetic flux interlinkage in a lateral direction of the target heating material and is arranged at a place to increase the temperature of the target heating material. A convex shield copper pipe(6) is arranged in an inlet and an outlet of the heating coil and has a neighboring portion(6a) neighboring to the heating coil and a remote portion(6b) apart from the heating coil.
