PURPOSE: An improved image formation model and a method using an adaptive filter are provided to reduce halo effect and cognitive dissonance between a real environment and a photographed image. CONSTITUTION: A display device acquires a base layer image filtered by using a Gaussian filter of an input image(S100). The display device acquires a middle layer image filtered by using an adaptive blurring filter of the input image(S200). The display device acquires a detailed layer image(S300). The display device disassembles the base layer image, the middle layer image and the detailed layer image(S400). The display device adjusts the disassembled images(S500).
