A charge and discharge system (100) of a secondary battery (200) and a charge and discharge controlling method of the secondary battery are disclosed. The charge and discharge system of a secondary battery includes a secondary battery having a bare cell (210), a charge and discharge switching module (220), and an analog front end (250); and a portable electronic device (300) to which the secondary battery is installed and which has an MPU. The MPU receives voltage information on the bare cell as an analog signal from the analog front end and determines a status of the secondary battery and outputs a control signal to the analog front end to control the charge and discharge switching module. According to a method of controlling charge and discharge for a secondary battery, the charge and discharge of the secondary battery is controlled using the charge and discharge system. |
