PURPOSE: A probe unit and a manufacturing method of the probe unit for image display panel inspection are provided to improve an assembling property and productivity and to increase a yield rate. CONSTITUTION: A probe unit(100) comprises is prepared in an edge in an image display panel(1) such as a liquid crystal display panel, a plasma display panel, and an active matrix organic light emitting diode display panel. The probe unit touches a plurality of electrode pads(2) for applying an electronic signal. The probe unit includes a base block(10), a flexible contact film assembly(20) and a bump mounted circuit substrate assembly(30). The flexible contact film assembly is equipped in one side of the base block and forms a wiring pattern.
