PURPOSE: A laser beam size controlling device is provided to comprise a shutter unit inside a housing, thereby preventing the contamination of the shutter unit so that convenience for maintenance is improved. CONSTITUTION: A laser beam size controlling device includes two shutter units(110,120), which is arranged to be mutually crossed to form a window which is penetrated by the laser beam. Each shutter unit(110,120) includes a pair of shutters(111,121), a pair of moving blocks(112,122), guide units(112,123), a first screw part(BS-1), and a second screw part(BS-2). The pair of shutters(111,121) are arranged to be opposed to form the two opposing side lines of the window. The pair of moving blocks(112,122) are respectively connected to the pair of shutters(111,121), and move together with the shutters(121). The guide units(112,123) are coupled with, and support the two moving blocks(112,122). The first screw part(BS-1) is coupled with one of the two moving blocks(112,122), and has a forwardly spiral structure. The second screw part(BS-2) is coupled with the other of the two moving blocks(112,122), and has a backwardly spiral structure. Ball screws(114,124) is rotated by motor actuation, and move the two moving blocks(112,122) mutually close to or away from. |
