The line has a propulsion unit and an axle with a differential interconnected by a longitudinal transmission shaft (1). The shaft includes a median section (2) extending horizontally on a low-clearance level, and end sections (3-5) tilted upward relative to a direction of the axle and of the propulsion unit. A set of coupling units is rotated between the median section and the end sections, and comprises homokinetic joints (6-8), where the joints are ball cage type joints. An independent claim is also included for a propeller shaft line for a craft e.g. floating or sailing craft.
