The car has a back seat whose backrest is removable/foldable from a locked and drawn up position. A protection barrier (7) protects the car against shocks due to luggage in a rear boot. An movable element (20) i.e. lever, is moved under action of a recalling unit (21) between a first position in which the element is held by the barrier and a second position during absence of the barrier. The movable element constitutes an obstacle preventing hand over of the backrest to the locked and drawn up position. An end (20a) of the movable element is held in first position by a part (8b) of barrier.
