The base (11) has two hollow elementary modules (12), and first fixing units for fixing the elementary modules with each other. Each elementary module has a parallelepiped form whose external height, external width and/or external length are respectively equal to a fraction, lower than or equal to a unit, of external height, external width and/or external length of a reference container defined by ISO 668standard. Second fixing units (121) fix the elementary modules with respect to a transport unit. An independent claim is also included for a hydrokinetic turbine.
