PURPOSE: A method for forming multi-directional latent images on metal products and a metal product with multi-directional latent images formed by the same are provided to obtain latent images with superior reproducibility and minutely and precisely express three or more types of complicated latent image patterns. CONSTITUTION: A method for forming multi-directional latent images(A',B',C',D') on a metal product(5) comprises the steps of: forming a plurality of recesses on a latent image mold unit using a laser machining device, dividing each recess according to the number of latent image patterns so that different latent images are formed in the divided surfaces, repeating the above steps to consecutively form a plurality of recesses with latent images and thus to obtain a multi-directional latent image mold in which the combination of latent images formed on the divided surfaces on the same side forms one latent image, and pressing the multi-directional latent image mold on a metal product to form latent image projections corresponding to the recesses. |
