The installation (2) has a filtration unit including an enclosure (20), where a removable filter (21) e.g. cartridge filter and filter bag, is placed, and another enclosure (22) contiguous to the former enclosure. The enclosures are connected with each other according to principle of communicating vessels, so that a water column is formed above a pump (23). An aspiration opening connected to an aspiration mouth (10) is formed in the former enclosure, and a repression opening formed in the latter enclosure is in communication with a discharge opening of the pump. An independent claim is also included for a swimming pool.
