The apparatus comprises preheaters (R1, R2, Rn, Rn+1) powered by a heating stream at an increased pressure level, an intermediate chamber (CI) for storing the heated raw material, a vacuum chamber (CV) connected to a condenser (Cr), steam jet ejectors (T1, Tn-1) feeding the preheaters, and a device for regulating a condensation pressure of each preheaters. The preheaters: are mono-tubular type preheaters, where a wall and a diameter of the mono-tube define a turbulent flow corresponding to the desired heat exchange; and receive the vapor emitted from the vacuum chamber. The preheaters: are mono-tubular type preheaters, where a wall and a diameter of the mono-tube define a turbulent flow corresponding to the desired heat exchange; receive the vapor emitted from the vacuum chamber; receive the mixed vapor from the steam jet ejectors that define a heating steam pressure; and receive the heat of expanded steam from the boiler. The steam jet ejectors are mono- or poly-nozzles. The vacuum chamber comprises an inlet for allowing the distribution of solid material, and an anti-priming device. The emitted vapor does not contain solid or liquid particles. The preheaters are equipped with a vacuum device comprising a single vacuum pump connected to n-pairs of valves or vacuum pumps connected with a vacuum beaker. An independent claim is included for a process for heating hydrated, mechanically transferred organic solid materials within a heating chamber.
|
