PURPOSE: A data collision preventing apparatus and a method thereof are provided to form a hierarchy structure of readers within a range which generate collision and to prevent various operations of the readers. CONSTITUTION: A data collision preventing unit(102) sets up a data collision preventing device by share of a channel frequency band. The data collision preventing unit sets up up/down structure relation of neighbor readers. The data collision preventing unit synchronizes time between readers within a close reader environment. A transceiving unit(106) transmits a synchronization pulse which is generated from a synchronization pulse generating unit(104).
