The receptacle (1) has a lid (15) providing access to a housing that is placed in a bonnet zone (4) in which a connector (2) and a supply cable (3) for charging a battery are stored. The lid is placed under an edge of a cap (13) of a driving compartment (10). The lid comprises an elastomeric peripheral joint, and an articulation axle (16) of the lid is placed on a side of a wall (9) of the driving compartment. Bottom (9b) of the housing includes an opening (20) for allowing passage of the cable for its connection on the battery.
