摘要 <p>#CMT# #/CMT# The system (1) has a ground plane (2) on which planar inverted folded antenna (PIFA) type radiating elements (3, 4) and an inter-element decoupling disabling line (9) are arranged. The ground plane is provided with a printed-circuit board, and the disabling line is suspended between the elements. The disabling line is associated to an active component (10) e.g. varicap diode, controllable capacitive load mounted transistor and controllable inductor, having controllable characteristic impedance e.g. voltage controllable characteristic impedance, to control inter-elements decoupling frequency. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Multiband diversity antenna system. Uses include but are not limited to a digital cellular system (DCS) based penta-band diversity antenna system, global System for mobile communication (GSM)based penta-band diversity antenna system, personal communications service (PCS)based penta-band diversity antenna system, universal mobile telecommunications system (UMTS)based penta-band diversity antenna system, and wireless local area network (WLAN) based penta- band diversity antenna system. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The disabling line is associated to the active component having the voltage controllable characteristic impedance to control the inter-elements decoupling frequency, thus improving the performance and the efficiency of the system. The disabling line is printed on a thin substrate, so that the disabling line is easily realized. The configuration of the system reduces the continuous power supply/radio frequency decoupling problems.
