The method involves introducing a one-eyed insert (4) on a positioning member (34) of a portion (28) of a mold (26), and closing the mold. A holding member (38) of another portion (30) of the mold is moved against the insert to ensure the pressing of the insert on the positioning member, and a plastic material is injected into the mold over the insert. The holding member is movable on the latter portion of the mold between a pressing position for pressing the insert on the positioning member and a retracted position in which the holding member extends away from the insert.
