<p>A device for supplying a material to a gasification furnace is configured in such a manner that a protective gas (36) is ejected from the end of a screw feeder (28), which is located on the downstream (B) side in the direction of material supply, by the nozzle (42) of a screw shaft (27) toward the fluidized bed (4) formed in the fluidized bed gasification furnace (1). Also, a nozzle (37) provided to the furnace wall (23) of the fluidized bed gasification furnace (1) ejects the protective gas (36) from the periphery of the end of the screw feeder (28), which is located on the downstream (B) side in the direction of material supply, toward the fluidized bed (4). As a result, the end of the screw shaft (27), which is located on the downstream (B) side in the direction of material supply, is prevented from being exposed in a fluidized medium which is a component of the fluidized bed (4) and thereby the wear of the front end of the screw can be minimized.</p> |
