PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discharge liquid water staying inside a fuel cell easily as compared with conventional manner.

SOLUTION: A fuel cell system 100A includes: a fuel cell 10; gas supply parts 40,50 for supplying gas used for power generation of the fuel cell; a storage battery 20; a switcher 30 for switching a power supply source with respect to a loading device 110 at least from one of the fuel cell 10 and the storage battery 20 to the other; and a controller 70 for controlling operation of the fuel cell system, in which the controller causes at least one gas supply among gas supply used for power generation of the fuel cell to be continued in a case that the power generation of the fuel cell is stopped by switching the power supply source with respect to the loading device from the fuel cell to the storage battery.
