<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method in which the stain attached to the surface of various railway signs including a scream position indicator is driven naturally or wind pressure of a passing train and swept off, so as to prevent the deterioration of visibility over time. <P>SOLUTION: In a sweeping-off device for railway sign, a rotary blade 5 comprising a brush 6 and a wind receptacle plate 7 is installed at the front face of a railway sign-board 1 so as to be rotatable with a support shaft 4 as a center, while the weight on the side of the wind receptacle plate 7 is set to be a little heavier than the weight on the side of the brush 6. When the wind receptacle plate 7 rotates by the wind pressure, the brush 6 rotates at the front face of a sign 2 and sweeps off the stain of the sign-board 1. In the windless time because of the heavier weight of the wind receptacle plate 7, the wind receptacle plate 7 side rotates in the vertical direction and the brush 6 side rotates in the horizontal direction and turns away from the sign 2 so as to prevent the visibility from being disturbed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
