<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print data generation device that discriminates a pattern on a paper surface of printed matter printed in an unspecified style in advance, specifies a blank area, and generates data for printer output for additional printing according to the blank area. <P>SOLUTION: A print data generation device 10 receives image information on a print surface of printed matter 17 from an image capture camera 37 attached to an image capture part 31 through the image capture part 31, and a blank area discrimination part 32 discriminates an area (pattern area) where the pattern is printed and an area (blank area) where no pattern is printed from the received image information; and a data processing part 33 processes data for additional print according to the position and size of the blank area, and an output condition setting part 34 outputs the data from an output control part 35 to a post-processing printer 11 together with output conditions of the position, size, etc., of an area for additional print. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
