<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image heating device in which a c-type retaining ring has convex portions firmly restrained in hole parts without spoiling the strength of an end part of a roller having a thin wall and hardly rises from the hole parts in the case of application of force in a peripheral direction to the c-type retaining ring. <P>SOLUTION: A heating assembly 1 can be induction-heated by incidence of a magnetic flux on a fixing roller 7. A shielding member 18 is movable along an inner peripheral surface of an end-side region of the fixing roller 7 and shields a magnetic flux. The fixing roller 7 is freely rotatably supported by heat insulation bushes 70a and 70b and bearings 11a and 11b. A c-type retaining ring 50 can be elastically opened and closed and has concave portions restrained in a plurality of hole parts in a peripheral direction, which are disposed in the fixing roller 7, to be fitted around the fixing roller 7 and restricts movement in an axial direction of the heat insulation bushes 70a and 70b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
