<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a downtime of a processing means in a system to improve productivity. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming system includes an image forming device forming an image on a sheet of paper, an enclosing device including an intermediate tray stacking sheets of paper with images formed and a pack unit enclosing the sheets of paper stacked on the intermediate tray in an envelope as an enclosure, and a CPU (Central Processing Unit) variably controlling an enclosing speed of the pack unit according to paper sheet information on the enclosed sheets of paper, and changing order of jobs A, B, C, D, E to be enclosed in the envelope according to the enclosing speed. A time for stacking on the intermediate tray and an enclosing time based on the enclosing speed of the pack unit are respectively obtained and the order of the jobs A, B, C, D, E is changed based on a change in the time caused by changing the enclosing speed of the enclosure by the pack unit to reduce the downtime(s) of the intermediate tray and/or the pack unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
