<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication network system that can control only a node to be a communication target among the communication nodes in a low electricity consumption mode to transition to a normal operation mode without increasing the number of signal lines. <P>SOLUTION: When a node that starts a communication causes a node in a state of the low electricity consumption mode (sleep) to shift to the normal operation mode (Active), the node that starts a communication keeps a signal change state on a communication bus for a period that is longer than one normal communication frame length.
