<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnet fixture for attaching, to a rotary shaft, a peripheral cutting edge or a grinding wheel which has a grinding stone firmly fixed to the outer periphery of a disk-shaped or cylindrical base metal, and fixing a rare earth magnet used when cutting or grinding the rare earth magnet, where a pair of fixtures holding the magnet includes metallic parts and columnar rubber, and the metallic parts have grooves shallower than a diameter of the rubber, and the rubber is fit into the grooves, a groove spatial volume is larger than a rubber volume, the rubber protrudes and the rubber firstly comes into contact with the magnet to prevent horizontal slippage by a friction force with the rubber, a protruding part of the rubber is deformed, allowing a metallic portion to come into contact with the magnet, and thereby eliminating slippage in a grasping direction and firmly holding the magnet. <P>SOLUTION: In cutting or grinding the magnet by a rotary grinding stone, the magnet fixture requires no bonded anchorage by wax, and allows the easy attachment/detachment of a cutting object and high-accuracy machining without the slippage of the magnet during the cutting and after the cutting. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
