摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit an AIT to a receiver without impairing the compatibility with a current digital broadcasting system.

SOLUTION: A receiver has: a reception part receiving a broadcast signal in which an application information table corresponding to application of a broadcast communication cooperation service is stored in a descriptor of an event information table; a separation part separating the event information table from the received broadcast signal; and an application execution controller acquiring the application information table from the descriptor of the separated event information table, and controlling execution of the application according to the acquired application information table.
