The invention relates to a method for producing an exhaust gas system (10) by means of the following steps: First of all a plurality of pipe sections (14, 16, 18) are inserted into one another with a clearance fit, so that connection points (30) are formed at which two pipe sections (14, 16, 18) respectively overlap. Then the pipe sections (14, 16, 18) are calibrated at the connection points (30) so that a narrow gap is produced. Next the connection points (30) are soldered. The invention also relates to an exhaust gas system having a plurality of pipe sections (14, 16, 18) which are inserted into one another and are soldered together, wherein the respective outer pipe sections (14, 16, 18) are calibrated. |
