<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid that welded beads may disturb the accommodation of rollers, to make the welded beads not contact with the rotating rollers, and to prevent the segmentation of the cage. <P>SOLUTION: This welded cage 10 for a roller bearing comprises an annular band-shaped steel plate 11 having pocket holes 20 for accommodating the rollers in a circumferential direction, the pocket holes 20 are formed of a pair of columns 21 which are adjacent to each other at both sides in the circumferential direction and a space surrounded by a pair of ears 22, 23 which oppose each other at axial both sides of the pocket holes 20, both ends of the band-shaped steel plate 11 in the circumferential direction are formed at the pair of ears 22, 23, and abutment welded parts 24, 25 are formed at the ears 22, 23. Recesses 31 recessed lower than the pocket holes 20 are formed toward circumferential both sides including the abutment welded parts 24, 25, and the welded beads 33 are formed at the recesses 31, thus preventing the welded beads 33 from being spread over the recesses 31 and steps 42 between the pocket holes 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
