<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite lathe and a composite cutting method capable of simultaneous cutting two workpieces, and capable of performing high-speed cutting with high machining accuracy by performing the core pressing of the workpiece and the rotation support of a rotary tool. <P>SOLUTION: In a first machining stage of the composite lathe 1, a first tool of a first turret performs the cutting to a first workpiece 6A rotated by a first rotary main spindle 2A, and a second tool of a second turret 3B performs the cutting to a second workpiece 6B rotated by a second rotary main spindle 2B. In a second machining stage 102 of the composite lathe 1, the rotary tool 33 of the second turret 3B rotates in a state that the rotary tool is supported by a rotary support 34 of a third turret 3C to perform the cutting to the second workpiece 6B in a state that the second workpiece 6B in the second rotary main spindle 2B is supported by an adapter 5 mounted to the first workpiece 6A in the first rotary main spindle 2A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
