<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agitation container that can exert large agitation force on liquid for dispersion or separation of the liquid while reducing the force and the number of shakings. <P>SOLUTION: The agitation container 1 for dispersion or separation of liquid that is agitated by being put therein and shaken, includes: a bottomed-tubular external cylinder 2 with an opening 2a in an upper part thereof; a detachable lid 6 for closing the opening 2a; and a tubular internal cylinder 3 disposed inside the external cylinder 2.
