<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing alkylene oxide from oxygen, hydrogen and an olefin, by combinedly using a catalyst containing titanosilicate, which brings about a high production amount of alkylene oxide as a result, and a new catalyst used therefor, and the like. <P>SOLUTION: This production method of alkylene oxide includes a step of reacting oxygen, hydrogen and an olefin in the presence of a titanosilicate-containing catalyst and a paradium-containing catalyst treated with a carbon-containing gas, which is obtained by bringing a paradium-containing composition including paradium and a carrier into contact with a compound selected from the group consisting of acetylene, ethylene and carbon monoxide; and the paradium-containing catalyst treated with carbon-containing gas and the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
