摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the temperature under the roof by forming a space between a roofing shingle and a sheathing roof board, circulating external air to the space in accordance with a change in external air temperature and exhausting the air from a ridge to the outside. <P>SOLUTION: A transverse roofing device comprises a plurality of shingles each of which is formed into the same cross-sectional shape from an aluminum extrusion material and is long in a width direction, a plurality of long-legged clips, a ventilation ridge frame mounted in a ridge portion of the roof, and an eave plate frame formed by connecting a slide plate which opens/closes a plurality of vent holes formed in an external air intake part provided in a distal end with a movable shaft of a ventilation device incorporating a displacement spring formed from a shape memory alloy material. By performing roofing using the roof materials, a space is formed between a shingle and a sheathing roof board and when the air temperature at a rear side of the shingle is elevated, the ventilation device mounted in the eave plate frame acts to open the vent holes. External air is then circulated from the space provided at the rear side of the shingle to an exhaust path of the ventilation ridge frame and exhausted into the atmosphere, thereby circulating air. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
