摘要 An automated system consists of a workstation of a schedule engineer, means of technical development of stations of the railway network, an information display, an input of source data, it comprises a unit for determination of input information for development of a schedule of trains, which consists of a workstation of schedule engineer, a unit for display of simulation results, a unit of imitation simulation of operation of the passenger complex and a unit of decision-making, a unit for determination of input information for development of the schedule of trains using a simulation model is built on the principles of modeling in Petri nets, where as network elements the passenger trains, cars are used. Each of the elements of the network has specific rules of operation and interaction with other elements as well as the parameters that form the response time. In the simulation a model time is used corresponding to one minute of real time, and taking into account the parallelism of operations performed for each of the time periods from a setobtained through imitation simulation one can calculate the cost of freight car-hourof passenger cars,, where I - set of passenger cars that come to the station and are processed;J - set of operations, which is performed with the i-th car;  - time of beginning the performance of the j-th operation of the i-th car; - time of the termination of the j-the operation of the i-th car; the stop duration depends on the duration of technological operations at the station, most of which are executed in parallel, that is, on the maximum duration of the operation:,where- duration of technical inspection, min.; - duration of boarding of the passengers, min.; - duration of disembarkation of the passengers, min.; - duration of customs procedures, min.; - axle-gauge changeover at border stations, min.; - performance of postal and baggage operations, min.; - time of changing locomotive and brake testing, min.; - time of coupling-uncoupling of car groups or individual cars;total duration of departure operations of passenger trains at the start and end stations is determined by the time spent for boarding (disembarkation) of passengers, where minimum required duration is, min.:  , where- number of seats in the car at maximum capacity, passengers;  - average time for boarding a passenger in the car, s.;  - number of vestibules opening in a car;  - average length of passage of a passenger in the car, m; - speed of passenger movement, m / s; - period of time from termination of boarding to the train's departure, s.for: where- average time for disembarkation of a passenger of the car, s.; - period of time from the end of boarding to the train departure, s..The simulation results of processing of passenger cars are displayed on the monitor of workstation of the schedule engineer.
