<p>The present invention relates to independent synchronous rail transportation, employing independent small carriages and monodirectional small rails, wherein the carriages follow a central clock tempo to perform synchronous, electrically driven, and automatically controlled operations. The entire journey operates at full-speed with no stops (without waiting at crossings or stopping at intermediate stops). The invention is mainly used for city transportation but can also be used for long distance transportation. The rails can be provided underground, on the ground or overhead. The carrying capacity of one rail can be up to 20 thousand persons per hour, solving the problem of traffic congestion in cities.</p> |
